When it opened in September 2000 after having been modernised, the Vityaz Cinema amazed spectators with a high-quality of its shows: a huge screen, wonderful sound and extremely comfortable and soft chairs of the newest design. Add to it super-modern projection equipment, silent air conditioners, an original design of the interiors, several bars in the lobby, and what you get is a virtually ideal modern cinema. However, there was one problem remaining: though modern, there was only one auditorium, which meant a rather limited repertoire...

After the second remodelling, the Vityaz Cinema will reduce the total number of seats to 697, but will increase the number of auditoriums. Now, instead of only one film on one screen the cinema may show five different films in five auditoriums in parallel (the first auditorium has 153 seats, the second one — 154 seats, while the third, fourth and fifth auditoriums have 130 seats each).
